Redhawk Native, American Arts Council, hosted the 18th annual Gateway to Nations NYC Native American Heritage Celebration at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. The festivities included Native American food, music, crafts, art, pony rides, and a live bird-of-prey exhibit.
The celebration attracts more than 500 Native American artists, educators, singers, dancers, and performing groups from across the Americas. The Pow Wow dance competition was intense and drew the largest crowd. The Redhawk Native American Arts Council is a not-for-profit organization founded and maintained by Native American artists and educators in New York City.
