One of the things that we love about living in Houston is all the hidden gems. The Gingerbread Build-Off draws more attention to architectural firms in Houston. The Architecture Center Houston hosts this event. Hermann Square at City Hall was the perfect location to admire all the non-gingerbread buildings in Houston, too.
Cinderella’s castle was on display along with Willy Wonka’s factory, the Hobbit’s house, and even the three little pigs had a prime location for all 3 of their houses. Of course, what neighborhood would be complete without a football stadium? UH’s College of Architecture did a fantastic job duplicating Robertson Stadium, complete with a scoreboard. Three Brothers’ Bakery sponsored building materials. Which team came out on top for the tastiest real estate in Houston?
