The 5th Annual Via Colori Street Painting Festival took place downtown Houston, benefiting The Center for Hearing and Speech, a non-profit organization founded in 1947 that serves over 4,000 Houstonians annually. The weather was perfect, and more than 200 artists showcased their talents, impressing the audience with their expertise and creativity.
Everywhere we looked, there were terrific works of art drawn on the street with chalk, including Kermit the Frog, a rhino, Nemo, and many more. All were family-friendly and sponsored by generous donors. Three stages featured entertainers, and food and wine were available for purchase. If you missed this year's event, we highly recommend attending next year.
