The yearly window tint cycle is a financial roller coaster. It starts slowly from January to mid-February, then skyrockets for four weeks at tax time, only to experience a significant drop-off. The summer months see a steady increase in sales, starting in May, but a sharp decline as school resumes follows this. The cycle then gradually slows down until Christmas, when there's a small spike in gift certificates. The slowdown continues until the following year's tax season. The key to surviving this roller coaster is straightforward: put back some cash when it's rolling in, or you won't survive.
