Dimi's Mobile Mechanic Terms of Service

Conditions for Service

To ensure the safety of our technicians and the protection of your vehicle, please adhere to the following requirements:

  1. Flat, Stable Surface: The vehicle must be parked on a paved, level surface, such as a driveway, garage, or parking lot. We cannot perform work on steep inclines, dirt, or unstable ground.
  2. Adequate Space: There must be at least 5–6 feet of clearance around the vehicle.
  3. Lighting and Weather Conditions: Sufficient lighting is necessary for our service. Please note that Dimi's Mobile Mechanic may reschedule services due to heavy rain, high winds, lightning, flooding, or other hazardous weather conditions.
  4. Customer Responsibilities: Please ensure that the keys are available when service begins. The work area should be kept clear of pets, children, and any obstacles.
  5. Roadside Services: Work will only be performed in safe and legal roadside areas. If the location poses a danger (e.g., active traffic lanes, blind curves, freeway shoulders), the vehicle must be moved or towed before we can proceed.
  6. Right to Refuse Service: Dimi's Mobile Mechanic reserves the right to refuse or reschedule any service if the environment is deemed unsafe.

Parts and Payment Information

  • Deposits: A 100% deposit for parts is required before any components are ordered for mobile services. This ensures that the necessary parts are reserved and covers initial service planning costs.
  • Payment Method: Deposits can be made in cash, by credit card, or via electronic payment methods. Detailed payment instructions will be provided once the service agreement is finalized.
  • Non-Refundable Deposits: Please note that all deposits are generally non-refundable, as they cover the cost of parts and administrative expenses incurred during the planning phase. Exceptions may apply if the order is canceled before any parts are ordered.
  • Order Confirmation: The exact deposit amount and total service estimate will be confirmed in writing prior to ordering any parts.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance for the service is due upon completion of the work. Customers will be notified of any changes to the estimates as the service progresses.
  • Delayed Services: If there are delays in service due to factors beyond our control (such as shipping issues or part availability), customers will be kept informed. The deposit will remain valid for rescheduling services.
  • Cancellation Policy: If a customer decides to cancel the service after making a deposit, they must notify the mechanic at least 24 hours in advance. In such cases, a refund may be issued at the service provider's discretion, depending on whether parts have been ordered.
  • Agreement to Terms: By submitting the deposit, customers agree to the terms and conditions outlined above and acknowledge their understanding of the mobile mechanic services deposit process.

At Dimi's Mobile Mechanic, I strive to provide the highest quality service for your vehicle. However, it is important to clarify our liability limitations regarding the services I offer. Please read the following carefully:

  1. Pre-existing Conditions: Dimi's Mobile Mechanic cannot be held responsible for any pre-existing issues or damage that existed prior to the provision of our services. I recommend that all customers disclose any known vehicle problems prior to service.
  2. Unrelated Mechanical Failures: I am dedicated to addressing specific issues as requested. However, if a vehicle experiences mechanical failures or breakdowns unrelated to the services we performed, I will not be liable for those issues. We advise regular maintenance checks to mitigate these risks.
  3. Customer-Supplied Parts: If parts are provided by the customer, Dimi's Mobile Mechanic will not assume responsibility for any mechanical failures or issues arising from those parts. I advise customers to ensure that any parts supplied meet necessary quality and compatibility standards.
  4. Limitations of Warranty:  While I offer a warranty on my services, it covers only the specific work performed and does not extend to other parts or mechanical systems not involved in the service.
  5. Safety and Maintenance:  To ensure the ongoing safety and reliability of your vehicle, we recommend adhering to a regular maintenance schedule and promptly addressing any unusual signs or warnings that may appear after our service.
